For years, heavy loads have been carried awkwardly or incorrectly thereby exposing the person carrying a load to significant risk of injury whether immediate or long term with resultant disruption to the work place and the payment of medical treatment costs where applicable by the employer. After years of research and development and testing, the Carry-It-Pack was refined to meet the needs of manual carrying of heavy loads.
Recognising differences in applications and work environments, the Carry-It-Pack was further refined to meet the specific needs of the banana industry focusing on the way banana bunches were carried. A streamlined design was developed to allow for effective function and dynamics so that the load carried is ergonomically distributed across the body and the carrying of the load is more comfortable and safe than currently is the case.
Besides the banana industry, other industries where heavy loads need to be manually carried have also been addressed and Carry-It-Packs have been developed to meet their specific needs.
